Delete your account
You can delete your account and your data at any time, yourself. Here is how, and exactly what goes away.
Last updated: 10 September 2026
From the app, in a few seconds
Open the app, go to the "Account" screen, then tap "Delete my account". A message reminds you what is about to be erased; you confirm, and it is done. The path is the same on all four versions: web, iPhone and iPad, Mac, Android.
You do not have to install anything for this: the web app opens in a browser, at app.advisory-temps.com, and offers the same button.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no trash, no cooling-off period, and no backup we could hand back to you afterward. One exception, if you administer a company: see "If you administer a company", further down this page.
Or by email, if you prefer
Write to contact@hdf-advisory.com from your account email address, asking us to delete it. We check that the request comes from the account holder, then delete it within 30 days.
This route is slower than the button for one reason only: that check. If you no longer have access to the account email address, say so in your message; we will find another way to identify you.
What is erased
Your account itself, meaning the identity you sign in with, along with your profile, your subscription status, the list of devices registered for notifications, and your old backups.
Every project where you are the only admin, with everything it holds: time entries, categories and notes. Nothing is kept from them.
Any invitations you have not yet accepted.
And if a company had assigned you a seat, that seat is released: it can be assigned to someone else again.
What stays, and why
The time you logged on a project administered by someone else. You are removed from its member list, but your entries stay with the project: they are part of its history, and the company or client who invited you needs them for their own accounts. Those shared projects are therefore not deleted — their other admins keep using them.
Billing records already issued. French accounting and tax law requires us to keep them for ten years. They live in our accounting, outside your account, and serve no other purpose. The billing information that did live in your account — customer identifier, subscription status and renewal date — is erased along with the rest.
If you belong to a company's workspace, the time logged on that company's projects belongs to it and is kept by it.
If you have a subscription
A subscription taken out from the website is canceled automatically when the account is deleted. You have nothing to do.
A subscription taken out on the App Store or on Google Play, however, cannot be canceled by us: only Apple and Google can stop it, at your request. Deleting your account does not interrupt it, and it would keep being charged. Cancel it yourself in the store settings — on iPhone, Settings, then your name, then "Subscriptions"; on Android, the Play Store, then "Payments and subscriptions". Before or after the deletion, it does not matter, but do it.
If you administer a company
Deletion is refused as long as seats are assigned to other people, or as long as the company's subscription is running. We do not cut off your colleagues' access on your behalf, and we do not leave a subscription running without a holder.
Release the seats and cancel the subscription first, from the "Company" screen in the web app, then try again; the app tells you which of the two conditions is blocking. A company still in its trial, where you are the only occupant, is deleted along with you.
Your other rights
This page covers deletion only. What data we collect, where it is hosted, and your rights of access, rectification, portability and objection: all of that is in the privacy policy, at advisory-temps.com/en/privacy. We answer any request within one month.
