Terms of Use

Purpose

These terms govern the use of the "Gestion des Temps – Suivi Projet" app and service, published by HDF Advisory, a SASU with share capital of €200, 12 rue Louis Revon, 74000 Annecy, France, SIREN 107 032 104. Creating an account means accepting these terms.

The service

The service lets you record the time spent on projects, manually or with a timer, review it as summaries and export it. It is available from a browser, an iPhone, an iPad, a Mac and an Android device. An internet connection is required to sync between devices.

Your account

You must be of legal age and provide a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for what is done from your account. Tell us right away at contact@hdf-advisory.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

An account is personal. It cannot be shared between several people: in a team, each person has their own account.

Trial, subscription and pricing

The service starts with a free 2-month trial, no credit card. When the trial ends, full access requires a monthly subscription: €5.40 incl. VAT per month from the website, €5.99 incl. VAT per month if the subscription is taken out on the App Store or Google Play, that difference being the commission those stores charge. For a team, the subscription is €4.50 excl. VAT per seat per month.

The subscription has no minimum term and renews automatically each month until it is canceled. Any price change is announced at least thirty days in advance and applies only to later renewals; you remain free to cancel before it takes effect.

Payment and cancellation

Depending on where you subscribed, billing is handled by Stripe (website), by Apple (App Store) or by Google (Google Play). Cancellation follows the same route: from your billing portal for a Stripe subscription, from your Apple or Google account settings for the others.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for; no pro-rata refund is made, unless the law or the relevant store policy provides otherwise. Your data stays available for the paid period.

Right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you have fourteen days to withdraw after subscribing. By asking for immediate access to the service, you agree that performance begins before that period ends; you then owe the amount corresponding to what was provided up to your withdrawal. To exercise it, write to contact@hdf-advisory.com. Subscriptions taken out through the App Store or Google Play are covered by those stores’ refund policies.

Your data and your content

The projects, categories, time and notes you enter belong to you. We do not use them for anything other than running the service, and we neither sell nor transfer them to anyone. You can export them at any time from the app. How your personal data is processed is described in our privacy policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service for unlawful purposes, not to try to work around its technical limits or authentication mechanisms, not to access other users’ data, and not to disrupt how it runs. A serious breach may lead to the account being suspended, with prior notice except in an emergency.

API

The subscription includes a read-only application programming interface (API), described in the web app (Account → API). The free trial does not include it. Each key is personal: you are responsible for keeping it confidential and for how the tools you entrust it to use it, and you must revoke it if you believe it has been disclosed.

The API is subject to the usage limits given in its documentation (number of keys, number of requests). It is versioned: an incompatible change will come as a new version, announced in advance. Abusive use, or use contrary to the acceptable use above, may lead to the keys concerned being revoked.

Availability and changes

We do everything we can to keep the service available continuously, without being able to guarantee it: interruptions may happen for maintenance, updates or because of an incident at our host. The service evolves regularly; features may be added, changed or removed. The removal of an essential feature is announced in advance.

Liability

The service is a tracking tool: it does not replace your legal, accounting or contractual obligations, and the data it produces is yours to check before any use, in particular for invoicing or working time. We encourage you to keep your own exports.

Our liability may not exceed the amounts you paid over the last twelve months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from the app, Account screen, "Delete my account" button. Deletion is immediate and permanent. You can also request it by writing to contact@hdf-advisory.com from your account email address; it then happens within thirty days.

If you administer a company that still has seats assigned to other people or an active subscription, you must first release those seats and cancel the subscription. A subscription taken out on the App Store or Google Play must be canceled by you, from the store settings.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be amended. Any substantial change is flagged in the app at least thirty days before it takes effect. If it does not suit you, you may cancel free of charge before that date.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, we encourage you to write to us first: most situations are settled that way. Failing that, and if you are a consumer, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge, or the European online dispute resolution platform, before bringing the matter to the competent courts.

Language

These terms are a courtesy translation. The French version, available at advisory-temps.com/conditions/, is the legally binding one and prevails in case of any discrepancy.
